Yes yes yes! This book combines the misogyny of gaming with the diversity and uniqueness of Blackness and all the problems within the community that comes with it. She addressed the complications of intersectionality and wanting to protect your own and while needing to protect yourself. Also, talking about Black excellence beyond respectability politics >>>> ON TOP of the intricacy of having white friends and not wanting to be the black friend. Great ass read!

Read it for #Blackathon2020 aaaannnddd I'm so glad I did. Now I need a movie adaptation with Marsai Martin.
