Visceral... to say the least. It is quite an unsettling read in typical Burroughs style, but no less brilliant than other Beat titles. If you have a strong stomach, it is worth powering through. No one explores the limits of the human body like Burroughs. Every story and piece sticks with you like a life experience. Art in its highest form.
