The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
3.5
Unfortunately this book didn’t really live up to my expectations, from the start it was an intriguing and easy read, and found it to be well-written and have an engaging plot. I was initially hooked by the mystery surrounding Owen’s disappearance but as the story progressed the pace became sluggish and unrealistic
I really enjoyed the development of Hannah and Baileys relationship throughout the book, which was probably the strongest aspect of the book as I was emotionally invested in their story. However, the twist and the ending was disappointing for me. I felt that the ending was abrupt and unfinished which really frustrated me.
Overall, the book had its moments and was an okay read, however the lack of a true ending just left me feeling unsatisfied.
