I can’t believe Volume 2 had me reading even faster than the first one. The pacing, the unraveling of the plot, it’s absolutely remarkable. Each chapter keeps me on the edge of my seat, making it impossible to put the book down.

One of the highlights of this volume is how it explores Xie Lian’s past, taking me back to the era before his first ascension. These glimpses into his history not only enrich the story but also make his character even more compelling. As the story progresses, I find myself increasingly drawn to the chemistry between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng. Their bond is so beautifully written.

This book is an easy 5-star read. It doesn’t deserve anything less. I’m completely hooked and can’t wait to continue this incredible series!
