We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast by Jonathan Safran Foer

This book really confused me, it was chaotic and messy to read. It jumped from subject to subject with what seemed tangentially connected, often meandering onwards without any real purpose. It was more like a series of articles or diary entries that were vaguely related to climate and sustainability issues but not really connected. It does have some interesting information (that I tagged) and at times the author does share some extremely personal experiences and information and his honesty is refreshing, which gives it some depth. I just feel like this should have been either better edited or written as a series of shorts or diary entries. As a book, it lacks structure, pacing, and flow to enjoy as a single read. The book can really be summed up to the idea of everybody going 2/3 vegan - no animal products before dinner in order to collectively change climate disaster. With some autobiographical information about Foer.
