I know I’m late, y’all...but Samantha Irby gets me!! Her deep distrust of strong emotions allows for an essay collection full of dark humor that is still heartwarming.

She has many affirming questions about the utility of joy/pleasure, and I wish I had gotten through this book a bit more quickly so I could better connect all the dots.
