The topic is interesting, but I found the text not compelling. There’s a web of characters, which at the end you realize is part of the story, but I wish that had been made clearer at the beginning. 

Two things that really stuck out to me from this reading: the other ways Native Americans received the shit deals that aren’t publicly talked about (I’m specifically thinking of the guardianship program) and the way generational trauma shows up.
