This book was exactly what I wanted from this series. It’s wholesome, cute, thought-provoking and funny in places.
I much preferred it to the third book, which wasn’t my cup of tea, and I actually enjoyed it more than the first.
There’s lovely discussions around gender, different cultures, differing opinions on conflict, views on parenting and families.. it’s just a lovely book that uses aliens to discuss aspects of humanity that can often be difficult to explore and digest.
I can see myself revisiting this book when I need a comforting hug from a beautiful story.
