This was an okay book until it wasn't.
There is a lot that is missing throughout. The time jumps are not a favorite nor does it really help the story line since it essentially goes from friends to I love you in the span of a chapter.
I am all for insta-love but this one just fell into a different category on its own.
The other part that was off was Dante and how he comes into the story line and also how he leaves it. There is no explanation or really a resolution that is acceptable other than it gets brushed off and that's it.
Lastly and ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE is a main character death. This was not mentioned as a trigger at the very beginning and it should have been. This was a complete blindside and in the epilogue of all places.
This is absolutely not a happily ever after to me and it should not be in that category at all.
I never reveal spoilers in a review but this one is a must since it was not mentioned as a trigger before starting the book.
