Off to a good start! Technically this is a reread (I’m avoiding counting those this year), but since I last read it, uh, prior to 2009, I think I’m good.

Very pleased I picked up on one twist before the reveal, although agnostic on how much exactly Gen was hiding from the readers. I think there’s a delicate balance when a narrator is concealing information to keep it from feeling unfair, and Gen is just slightly on the wrong side of that balance. Otoh, I’m not sure what the right side would’ve been, considering the scope of the reveals.

Love the worldbuilding tho.
