This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone....though I'm not sure why you'd want to since the first one was just as good.

Cora Seton has done it again! I have read several of her books and The Soldier's E-Mail Order Bride was just as well written as all of her other books. Ms. Seton is a marvelous story teller, she quickly makes you fall in love with the characters and makes you emotionally invested in each one.

One of my favorite things about this book was how emotionally invested you get with Austin and Ella. I was brought to tears several times during this story and at times even felt the urge to jump through the book and shake Austin. Austin is dealing with a lot of emotional struggles brought on after the death of a friend during the war, Ms. Seton did a wonderful job bringing the struggles of our military members to the forefront during Austin's story.

The Soldier's E-Mail Order Bride has a lot of emotional ups and down, as well as some unexpected twists and turns. Ella and Austin have some intense chemistry so be prepared for some sizzling sex to occur. This will be one book that you won't be disappointed in reading.
