This was my first book by the author, and I'd seen a lot of tiktoks and social media posts with quotes that got me interested. But I feel like between the pacing of the story, the messiness of the characters, their lack of communication things fell flat which is why it dropped to 3.5 stars. I think I will like the next book better based on tropes, but I don't feel rushed to read it and continue on right now.
