This was a pretty good book if you don’t take it too seriously. There are a few plot holes/side plots that never get followed through, but it’s a fun book about high schoolers dealing with demonic possession and the issues that follow. It’s also a cute book about friendship and the things one is willing to do for the ones they love.

As a side note, I’m disappointed the two main characters were not queer or that those avenues were never explored. In my opinion, it would’ve made the story a lot stronger with the setting in the 80’s, Gretchen having very religious parents, and the exorcism.
