I was definitely confused for the first portion of this book, not understanding how all the parts were supposed to connect together. I persisted because I wanted the background to the Netflix series recently released and I'm glad I did. Once things clicked I was really invested, the last third picked up the pace quite a bit. I'll have to pick up the next one soon!
