I feel very mixed about this book. On the one hand i’m in love with Josh and i adore the spilt POV of the chapters so we could see in his head. However Hazel made me cringe at times- i get that that is her character but god she said some odd things. The dynamic of the two of them worked well however, they balanced eachother out of course and i liked their affectionate nature towards eachother . Josh’s family have my heart- i love that his culture is explored but i wish it was covered even more. The ending was a little flat for me and I wasn’t a fan of the rather unexpected trope used towards the end (iykyk). Overall a solid romance, just disappointing that it had the potential to be even better.
