Stranger Than We Can Imagine: Making Sense of the Twentieth Century by John Higgs

5.0

About half-way through this, I though: John Higgs is to non-fiction books what Adam Curtis is to documentary films. And then John Higgs referenced an Adam Curtis film and I realised that there indeed is a God.

Like HyperNormalisation or All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace... Like The KLF and I Have America surrounded... even if some of the narratives are specious, the entire construction of it is like candy to my brain. This book is no different.
