when i read it ends with us, i was severely underwhelmed by colleen hoover’s work and i wasn’t sure if i even wanted to read more of her books. but then i read the synopsis for verity and i just knew i had to start it. i started it at around midnight on sunday and it’s now monday, and i just finished it.

it is SO FUCKING GOOD. the suspense, the trauma, the storyline, the setting, the characters (VERITY??? HELLO???) literally everything deserves a 5/5 from me. it is SO GOOD. im a sucker for thrillers and this definitely did it for me.

i really can’t wait for colleen hoover to write more of this kind of stuff (maybe she has, im not too familiar with all her works), because i feel she nailed it. i don’t think i’ll be able to think about anything else for the next month.
