Last Night in Montreal by Emily St. John Mandel

4.0

I love Emily St. John Mandel, and enjoyed reading this book. I have read her two most recent works and while I loved them infinitely more than this book (and most other books?), I appreciated the sense I got from this book: that reading it was bearing witness to an author finding her style. This book is layered and the characters are complex and well written. About a 3.5 for me.
