Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison

4.0

3.75 stars, rounded up! For a debut novel, I think this is phenomenal and wonderful. I loved Luka and Lala’s (I love this nick name) relationship so much! This was a unique take on friends to lovers x fake dating. I was expecting the usual formula and pacing; this was not that. I was pleasantly surprised by the pacing and plot twists. Parts of this were 5 stars hands down: the imagery, the attraction, Beckett, the farm.

However, there were some big things that seemed obvious to me that I was getting pretty frustrated with that I just cannot let go.
1. It felt kinda insta-lovey to me.
2. Did they really not think the influencer would find out they just started dating?
3. It was never mentioned how they would fake Luka being a part-owner.
4. It seemed like the influencer was going to be plot B. But she didnt show up until ~ page 190/300.

I wanted to give this 5 stars so badly but these things are just eating at me. BUT, I still loved it and will probably re-read eventually and definitely continue with the series.
