This was a cute book. As an Indian myself, I understood the conflicts of Preeti, how she felt about not wanting to disappoint her parents, how scared she was to tell her parents or even get into something that maybe frowned upon in the desi household, how she had to fight hard to make her parents understand her feelings and accept it, etc. As a couple, Preeti and Sam were cute, nothing really special about them but they worked. I did get bored especially in the middle but other than that it was a decent read.
