This takes place in a vampiric world where advanced human replicas called Feeders provide blood–and sexual pleasure–to their rich and immortal owners called the Forever Souls. While Ty’s circumstances as a Feeder are better than those of the mortal-like others (called Limiteds), he begins to imagine a new life away from his owner (Meredith) and their symbiotic but unfulfilling relationship. 

The build up to the plot twist was amazing just for the author to basically leave the readers for dead with an abrupt cliffhanger. This story was so unique, and now I disappointingly have so many unanswered questions for a book that still doesn’t have a follow-up.
