Joe Abercrombie is phenomenal. The more you read, the more you like it. Almost all of the stories are strong here, only one, maybe two were more subpar, relatively speaking.

I LOVE what he has done with Shev and Javre. And I love the strange parallel he managed to extract at the end with Bethod and Logen. That took me off guard.

Everyone is here in what feels like a gigantic behind the scenes. A collection of bonus scenes that at times feel incredibly poignant for the characters you fell in love with in the rest of the series and that you didn't know you needed.
