“See, you like walking red flags. That, my man, is a problem.”
“My name sounds so f*cking good on your lips. Do it again.”
“Some people want to remain broken because it’s easier.”

Fast-paced MM Grumpy x Sunshine romance with queer discovery, street racing, photography, a college setting, and a mysterious plot.

The first half of the book focused more on the relationship development between the main characters, but towards the end, the plot became more mysterious, and there was a lot happening.

I enjoyed the relationship between the main characters, even though at times I was frustrated with the lack of communication between Alek and Evan.

I really liked how Alek grew as a character throughout the book. At first, he seemed just grumpy and at times mean, but on the inside, he was really a sweet and loving character with a difficult, traumatic past.

I loved the strong friendships between the characters and the found family elements. The side characters were interesting, helped move the plot forward, and at times served as comedic relief. I would like to learn more about them.

The plot itself was slower at the beginning, more focused on relationships, but it got faster towards the end. There were multiple plot twists that took me by surprise.

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
