Not Another Love Song by Julie Soto

4.0

4.25 stars!

Yup. Julie Soto does it again! I felt the connection between the characters along with the passion through the music.
Plus it was hot lol.

For real though, this story connected so well and everything was such a great pace. I loved finding out our character's back stories as the story continued and getting slivers of information here and there. The tension leading up to the romance was perfect and I couldn't wait for them to get together. Their first meeting was also so good and had me all giggly right away. We got cameos from characters in Forget Me Not and it made me so happy! I'm begging for more books in this universe.

This was definitely a 5 stars up until the last 60 or so pages. I really thought I was going to think this was completely perfect but it did go on for longer than I felt it needed to. Our story and romance got wrapped up within 300 pages and the last bit was a lot of minor complications popping up back to back and at that point I was ready for it to be over. It almost felt like we were getting random conflicts just to make the book longer and it changed the whole vibe.

Besides that, I loved this so so much and I can't wait to read more by this author!!
