I’m a sucker for roommates to lovers. I’m a sucker for the playboy falling for the girl who isn’t his type. And discovering “gasp” he wants more. And the girl getting over her “I’m not good enough” thoughts. And the “I bet he says this to all the girls”.
Given these are university kids, I will forgive them for assholery and general cluelessness.
I hope there will be a story coming up for the other roommates and friends.
Overall thoughts: besides feeling like a pervy old lady for enjoying Nico, it was a pretty pleasant, but bland, sports romance read. I enjoyed it while reading it. But I doubt I will remember much once I move on to my next read.
