oh, dorian. oh, dorian. WOW. i am just stunned. you have outdone yourself.  this book is exquisite; it is an investigation into the human soul, the power of vanity and the problems of living a life with not a single consequence for your actions. It’s truly powerful stuff.  we as a society will never outgrow the need for a beautifully written book about things that are timeless. and i couldn't of been happier reading this.
‘behind every exquisite thing that existed, there was something tragic.’
“nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.”
i have so many thoughts about this and they're all written in the book itself :)
