Discussed A LOVE LIKE THE SUN by Riss M. Neilson at Sidetrack Bookshop tonight for their first romance book club. My head was sore, so I listened more than talked, but that’s okay; I just like being around bookish people.

Neilson’s book was Sidetrack Bookshop’s first romance pick, and it's Threads's pick for the month, so you know it has to be an excellent read to discuss, and it was.

Friends to lovers
Fake romance
Chronic illness rep
Angsty feels
Nosy old ladies
Excellent audiobook narration

I initially listened to the book on Libro.fm. But after loving Frankie Corzo’s narration - and the cover! - so much, I knew I needed this on my shelf.

I would put A LOVE LIKE THE SUN on your summer reading romance list.
