Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce

this was a rollercoaster. from the very start we’re introduced to the fucked up characters of this story, especially our main character alison. definitely towards the end of the book i felt more sympathy for her but other times her actions really were questionable and sometimes infuriating. but what was more infuriating was carl. i don’t think i’ve ever hated a person more in a book ever, everything about him made me so unbelievably angry and the fact alison never realised what he was doing until the very end. and to say he was a relationship/sex addiction therapist? LOL. this book did have me hooked though, the whole side story of the murder case wasn’t that interesting but still something to keep me reading more. i recommend if you like dark, twisted relationships/affairs, and some good plot twists. all i can say is that i wish alison had a better taste in men.
