The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang

5.0

I don’t know where to start with this review. This is probably one of my top reads for 2021 and just in general.

The Heart Principle follows Anna who is a violinist, after going viral on the internet she becomes hyper fixated on playing perfectly to continue the pleasure for others.

This book was so raw and connective and had some of the most realistic mental health discussions I have ever read- without it being in your face of the struggle Anna was facing.

The romance was so WHOLESOME. QUAN IS THE SWEETEST PERSON AND DESERVES THE WHOLE WORLD. Their intimacy and faith in one another is so refreshing and unlike so many romances they communicate and handle conflict together, bit also give space when needed.

The spicy scenes were so informative and not just describing their infatuation with one another but opens up the conversation of learning how to accept and embrace yourself with someone you love in such an intimate way.

I loved this book so much and it has such a special place in my heart!!
