This was a nice palette cleanser for me, I enjoyed that this was a police pairing from the UK, you normally see these types of books based in the US.  I also enjoyed that the two main characters weren't perfect, and the relationship developed over time, with no insta-love.  I just wish we had more of their relationship on the page before the main action kicks off and go to experience it firsthand instead of something already established.  Overall a quick enjoyable read.
