I didn’t think I would really like this book at the beginning because it starts off slower in my opinion and you really don’t get to know the characters until ⅓ of the way in. However, after the second and third husband, I got much more invested. I know Evelyn is very adamant that she is not a good person and isn’t the hero in her story, but I am personally obsessed with her and believe she can do no wrong. (Even if she does do wrong, she has valid reasons.) I also loved Harry so much, he was probably my favorite character.
Monique is annoying and I did not like her. She was very self-centered and really just got on my nerves throughout the whole book.
My favorite line of the book is when Harry said to Evelyn, “I am absolutely positive that I need you more than I’ve ever needed another living soul.” I just need everyone to read that also because I’ve been thinking about it nonstop.
