I'm glad I read this - I think there were parts when I could've paid more attention, I didn't appreciate that it felt like all the action was lumped toward the end of the book, but it was nice reading a prequel and knowing that there was more to the story yet still wanting to see how it played out/what happened in between. The two books (0 and 1) read similarly in the arc/content. I think depending on the order in which I read the books in this ?duology, I'd've enjoyed them both just about equally
