All That Remains by Sue Black
5.0
Such a brilliant book, well-written, sensitive and yet still fascinating and detailed. There’s a perfect blend of case histories with scientific knowledge and personal anecdotes, overall creating a very well-crafted book. The author’s respect for the deceased and the importance of their donations to anatomy is shown throughout and she presents her personal experiences interwoven with her professional path to become a world-leading forensic anthropologist in a deeply engaging way.
