I love O'Farrell's writing and the way she strings the right words together. Her life is clearly much more beyond these 17 instances, but I think this was a really creative way to frame a memoir. The last two stories at the end were the most moving to me, especially the way she went into detail about all the things she has to do for her daughter. As someone who is not a mother, it puts a lot of things into perspective for me.
