I actually got pretty far into this one and I was trying to push through the book because I got a pretty special edition of the first book in the series and I just really wanted to figure out where the story was going. However, I went into this book already kind of struggling because the whole time I was reading the first book I kept feeling like I was missing something, and that feeling really just got worse for me in this book and eventually I ended up DNF'ing it. I don't see myself coming back to it however I like the edition I got and want to at least give it another try at some point.
