The Crucifix Killer by Chris Carter

4.0

This is the first book I have read by this writer and I enjoyed it immensely. I did not get the killer which is so rare for me. The only issue I had with it was that it could have done with a good proof reader as there were some errors that obviously snuck through spell check as they were real words, just not the right ones.

It is your usual format crime book with your typical 'not-like-other-detectives' main character but it was very well written, compelling, interesting, kind gross, and like I said I didn't guess the killer until they were revealed. Very solid start to the series.
