I kept going back and forth between four and five stars, so let's call it 4.5 rounded up.

This is old-school horror at its best, with some genuinely creepy parts that shook me. The ending felt very King-esque, and depending on what kind of reader you are, you may love or hate that. In my opinion, it was a fitting end to a well-done horror story.
