There were times this book was so fascinating, I couldn’t break away…but there were just as many times I was so bored I couldn’t wait for it to end. I loved Grann’s other book, Killers of the Flower Moon, so I know it’s not his writing style that bored me. I think this type of adventure story just wasn’t my cup of tea.
