Fate, Reborn by Silvana Falcon
3.0
"Fate’s a powerful thing, but you’re not a slave to it.”
MORDYNN!!
Ugh this one was unexpected but still so good.
Do you believe in reincarnation?
Would you believe your love you lost came back to you in the form of someone else?
Phew the journey this one took me on.
Finally I got the back story on Mordyn but also the depth that is Apollo, the vampire hunter. These two together was like two magnets but with a big obstacle in the way that was keeping them a part. But when they finally do come together it is like puzzle pieces clicking together.
When Apollo cant get Mordyn from his mind he suspects it's something that he can put a stop to but in the end it is destined to happen this way, whether he wants it to or not.
I loved the back and forth between these two and the building tension that builds and builds until the breaking point. Like a rubber band being snapped back into place, Apollo gives in and then Mordyn.
There is spice here but the plot is the winner here for me, the pasts of both these men is what keeps you going. The stubbornness, the desire for justice, the desire for each other it all combined together makes for a really great book and addition to this series.
All the best things come to those who wait and wait I did for this book. Mordyn had me curious about who he was and what his story was from Book 1.
