📖 Book 3 in the Kings of Sin series focuses on the King of Wall Street, Dominic Davenport and his failing marriage to Alessandra. She's the love of his life, but when Ale finally has enough of all the broken promises and forgotten dates, she files for divorce. Dom realises too late that everything he has is nothing without her, and will stop at nothing until he shows her that they are worth a second chance. No matter the cost.

💭 Reading the early scenes when Domonic doesn't show up made my heart ache for Alessandra. Feeling second rate to your partner's job, money and success would just be so heartbreaking and I felt Ale's resolve turn from self-preservation into a zest for something more. I really enjoyed watching Ale find herself, fulfilling the dreams of having her own store and rediscovering who she is without Dom.

Of course, no Ana Huang book would be complete without some steamy spice, and though I felt it a little on the tamer side compared to her previous books, I think this also suited the relationship and themes featured.

The introduction of Roman brought mystery and danger to the storyline which kept the pace well. He is an interesting character I hope we see more of in the future. Also, does anyone else want a book about Aiden? I'm thinking the hunky lumberjack landlord would be a gentleman on the streets and filthy in the sheets 🥵
