Personally I preferred 'Good Wives' over 'Little Women'; the characters became a lot more likable after growing up and maturing. Slightly too descriptive, but writing is emotional and really makes you feel for the characters. Might piss you off if you're liberal due to many characters having traditional ideas of gender roles and family. Overall an enjoyable read.
