This one was somewhat interesting, as I always love a ‘woman on the lamb’ tale and some fresh start vibes. I could’ve done without the body-shaming, personally. I also enjoyed the alternating first-person POVs.

Fresh start.
Abusive husband / wife on the run.
Lots of twists, betrayal and some interesting scheming.

Overall:
This was a mildly fun read—3.5 stars.
