unfortunately this was very predictable and although being able to “guess” what the plot twist/big reveal is in a book doesn’t usually affects me, in this case it did.

i really like gillian flynn’s writing and i love the way she builds her characters but in this book these aspects were not enough to keep me interested in the story after i realized what had happened with libby’s mother and with her brother (which i did very early on).

the book dragged for me and it’s honestly very disappointing to have to give one of her books less than 4 stars (even though 3 stars is NOT a bad rating).

so... yeah. 3 stars.
