I picked this book up because I was honestly just needing something different than what I have been reading, and I am so glad I went for this one! This is the first book in the Skyward series, and it's the first book by Sanderson that I've ever read, and it did not let me down! It was honestly the perfect book for me to read, and it helped me battle off a reading slump. I loved Spensa so much, and it was just a fantastic book. Now my only issue is deciding if I want to jump straight into book two and see what happened after this one ended or if I try to read one of my TBR books I had planned for the month.
