This was a really cute book. It was fun to read and I love the cover. Cartoon people are much better than real people!
The story was good and very well written. Can I point out that Melissa is legally blind and has absolutely smashed it with this book. I have so much respect and love for you Melissa!! I thought the story followed really well. There's no plot holes or any lingering questions after finishing my read of this one.
I loved the characters. Nat was a sweet lady. She has her issues but she smashed it. Noah. Oh my goddess what can I say. New book boyfriend number 5 of 2025. I'm really collecting them! He was so sweet and kind. He actually reminded me of my husband which was lovely. I adored all the side characters too! They were fun and worked well.
The book is written in third person from a single POV - Nat's. Would it have been nice to have Noah's POV too - absolutely! It didn't spoil that book or anything by not having it. Nat's POV only still worked really well.
I just want to point out that Noah's PTSD was written with such care and sensitivity. It was greatly appreciated. Thank you Melissa for writing about the subject with such respect.
I recommend this to romance lovers or if you want to read the genre for the first time, this would be a great start.
