A uniquely written novel that follows an amorphous group of brown girls throughout their lives, this group manages to feel like a well developed character. The prose was thoughtful and lovely and this dealt with a lot of interesting themes
Graphic: Misogyny and Racism
Moderate: Death, Homophobia, and Classism
Minor: Abortion, Pregnancy, and Pandemic/Epidemic
