Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James

4.0

I would technically rate this a 3.5, but I'll be nice and round up.

Ana, for some reason, really annoyed me this book. For example, I don't like that she would blatantly ignore Christians warnings about being safe and put herself in literal life and death situations other than to cause drama for the reader.

Christian's reaction to Ana's pregnancy was ruuuuude af. Bad Christian. Very bad. Made me kind of hate him. Him meeting up with Elena, too, after finding out..oooohhhh, I'd be livid.

Lastly, the whole Hyde being Mr. Hacker/kidnapper and whatever plot needed drama super villian was so boring. I'm sorry, none of that made sense. Why would a man who reads books do all that? It was dumb. Just write a different character and stop being lazy.

Overall, the story was not boring but annoying. I ended up pretty much ready to end this series when I got to the end and left unfulfilled. I would have enjoyed Ana leaving Christian at the end and making better choices better. But no. I get married with 2 kids. Gahhhhh dumb.
