For a collection of novellas, this wasn't half bad! I liked that Celaena's backstory was broken up into five parts, and it made the book feel shorter. The best one was definitely number 5, as it felt the most prevalent to the story and was most current to the series.I enjoyed reading about her relationship with Sam, and I was happy that there weren't a whole bunch of new characters. Not as good as Throne of Glass or Crown of Midnight, but it was still worth reading.
