this book got progressively weirder, more shocking, and disgusting with every next chapter. it was definitely not what i expected and i don't think i would've picked it up if not for one of my classes. but at the same time, the writing style gets you hooked ans makes you want to keep reading because it flows in a way that feels almost hard to get back into when you take a break, especially with the difficult topics involved. i don't know how to rate this tbh
