Type of read: Commuter (listened to and from work)

What made me pick it up: This has been on my TBR list for a while, just waiting for it to be available through my local library.

Overall rating: The Hate You Give made me angry, sad, and absolutely heartbroken. This is a beautifully written book that helps to open your eyes to situations and experiences happening around our country. I would recommend The Hate You Give in a heartbeat and will also be adding it to my list of books I could read time and time again. This is one of those books that will forever change the way you look at literature.
